Merry CHRISTmas!!!

What fun Jesus's Birthday was!!! Isaiah was so thrilled to realize we are the ones getting presents for Jesus' Birthday. Luke had a great time opening presents. He loved the paper and all the sounds it would make.
Thank you Jesus for all you have done for us and for blessing us with sooooo MUCH. Thank you for everything and PLEASE keep us humble and to always remember and do something about those that have nothing.

Horse backriding

Our friends, Jack and Bethany invited us to go horse backriding for Christmas eve. It was a great Christmas present for me because I've never gone before and it was in the top 10 things to do before I die list. Not that I am ready to pass on, but I was just blessed by going.
Thank you guys!!!
Check out Isaiah and his "poop ball". He loved throwing poop around. And of course we let him. What's life without playing with poop once in a while :)

Pile

Isaiah is into making piles nowadays. Piles of food, piles of toys, or just piles (of anything he can get his hands on).
I am learning that when Isaiah is really quiet you better get the camera out. This is the latest pile I found in the bathroom. It could have been worse. Yuck!!!

Sleigh riding

The neighborhood went sleigh riding today and even if the hill wasn't huge the kids had a blast. Isaiah wanted to go by himself most of the times (this is a first for him) and Luke just enjoyed watching everyone from the stroller.

E prima data cand si'a facut curajul.

THANKSGIVING in OHIO

This picture says it all "hip-hip-hooray for the fun-family-filled-let's do it again- weekend". We are so blessed to be part of a healthy-God loving family!!!
We celebrated Thanksgiving, Christmas and Benjamin's birthday this weekend.
Isaiah's first snowman. It had to be the perfect snowman, of course!!! He looks so real, doesn't he?
Who's turn to open presents? What a beautiful chaos!!!
Monopoly was the game of the week :)
The "Centerpiece"
Wrestling was one of the favorite pastimes
Some of the kids were up at 5AM sharp each morning. Some days we were able to have them go back to sleep, other days we just sent them to play by themselves.
Every morning we were blessed by a beautiful sunrise!!!
The girls having fun becoming pilgrims...or Star Wars characters (what does SW have to do with Thanksgiving?)

Corn again

Eric found a corn field a few weeks ago. He brought home 50 pieces of corn, and hid them in the garage. Every other day he's bringing a few ears inside for Isaiah to shuck. Before going to bed Isaiah really wanted to shuck some corn so he could feed the squirrels. Is this "corn obsession" ever going to end?

Apple sauce

We bought 50 lbs. of apples a month ago, and we always thought it will be a great idea to make sauce but we never got to it. We ate half of the apples, but today we got inspired and we finally did it. All I can say is that it was much easier than canning chicken!!!

Cutting cabbage

When we woke up this morning (6:30AM) I mentioned we will be making haluski. Isaiah got so exiting because he knew that meant he will get to cut the cabbage. Believe me, there's excitement behind the concentration look on his face :)

Isaiah s'a sculat foarte vrednic in dimineata asta. Ce fatza concentrata are?

Visit

Our friends Griffin and Lincoln came to visit us today. Luke and Lincoln had a "whose fist fits better in their mouth" contest. Isaiah and Griffin had a great time playing in Isaiah's closet, and the moms just hung out and did nothing. Beautiful!!! Thank you Kaley for driving (I admit is a challenge packing everyone up and I am thankful when other people come over).

Prietenii nostri Griffin si Lincoln au venit in vizita astazi.

Smiley Luke

Luke blesses us EVERY MORNING with huge smiles. How different our world would be if everyone would wake up with this kind of attitude :)
Plus he loves seeing his daddy, so this morning we got double blessing.

Luke se scoala in fiecare dimineata zambind.

Daniels' Birthday

Haaapy Birthday to Daniel...
It was nice to see aunts and uncles (especially uncle Ilie), mamaia and Mr. Dorel. We have not seen them in a while, so it's always good to catch up. We debated, we ate good...thank you Mike and Maria for having us.
