The aftermath...

Isaiah and his new toys...
After church, Isaiah played with all his new toys. They were still in boxes but he didn't care. He played, while mommy and daddy screamed: "help, help...we are being overtaken by toys!!!"
P.S. Psss...check the outfit that Grandma and Papa got for me. Am I styling or what?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ISAIAH!!!

Romanian Traditions (cutting Isaiah's hair, cutting the bread above his head for a prosperous life, and letting him choose three things from a tray and interpret what he will like in his adult life...somewhat silly, but cute). Isaiah chose the thread (upholsterer like papa?), the doll (he's going to be after the girls...like daddy), and the chess piece (chess champion like mommy?)
The cake...(THANK YOU MAUI for decorating it)

Last night we celebrated Isaiah's #1. Isaiah got a lot of presents, we were all overwhelmed by the kindness of our family and friends. Thank you ALL!!!

Doctor's Office

Even if sick, I still had the strength to check out the cupboards...

I went to the doctor's office on Tuesday, Wednesday and today (Thursday). Tuesday I had a really high fever (105.4). The doctor looked at me and said I was ok. Wednesday I went back and they told me I had a sinus infection. Today I went for my one year check-up. The doctor said I looked fine. Mommy always says that!!! "What a fine looking man", she says. I am skinny for my age, but I was sick for the last 5 days, and I am so active...so I cannot keep the fat on.

Don't they look cool? We found our friends, Brad and Anna at Christen's graduation party. Brad looks so serious because he doesn't like to have his picture taken. That's why everytime I see them together I try to take a picture. Am I evil?!!! He...he...he...

Look what I got from a garage sale!!! I've been telling mommy I wanted to help for so long but she never let me use her real tools. Finally, now I can help!!!

Helping daddy again

What would daddy do without my help? I am very tired because I just finished helping him around the yard. This time I helped him put mulch around the flowers!!!

Fixing my mower...
After church and breakfast at the Parkway, I had to go home quickly because I had so many things to do. First, I had to fix my mower because I had to help daddy mow. Then I went to Sam's to buy some things. Afterwards we all went out to dinner and ice-cream for Mother's Day. When we returned home uncle John came over to visit. After he left, I finally went to bed while mommy, daddy, grandma and papa watched "Night at the Museum".

Playing makes me tired

Like papa Kochis says: "Life is so hard (playing), and someone' s gotta live it!"
I played and played, and played some more and when mommy put me in the swing I was gone for a few hours... not a movement, not a peep.

Fun day with daddy

Papa Kochis had surgery today, so daddy went to the hospital in the morning and spent the afternoon with me. We had a lot of fun. He threw me in the air, he wrestled with me. The higher he throws me the harder I laugh. Then I helped him with the mower, and I played with the hose while he was washing his bike.
By the way...Papa is doing well. Good thing he went to the doctors because his artery was really plugged. In the later afternoon, my friend Carly came over to visit (she lives across the street). She didn't stay long because it was really hot outside and I was getting grumpy. I enjoyed her company even if it was just for a little while.

Daddy left for work and I was in tears

When daddy left for work today I was so sad because it looked as he was going to have so much fun without me. I was okay when mommy took me inside and started playing with me.

We LOVE the sun...

It's so relaxing being in the hammock with daddy

Grandma Retezatu And Mr. Dorel
Grandma and Papa Kochis

We played outside the whole day today. When daddy came home from work he took me on the hammock and we spent some time together. Then Grandma Retezatu and Mr. Dorel visited, and when they left Grandma and Papa Kochis came. What a wonderful day I had...full of surprises.

I love Skype

Luminita and CostinI just talked to my best friend, Luminita for 45 minutes. It was nice to hear from her. She lives in Spain with her husband, Costin and they are going to have a baby sometimes in October or November. We talked using Skype, so it was free. I love technology!!! So many things have changed...

Bike Ride

Yesterday was a pretty quiet day. We went to church in the morning, and afterwards Eric went for a bike ride. Isaiah really wanted to go on the bike, so Eric gave in. They just hung out on the bike for a while. Isaiah was trying to figure out how the bike was built. We think he is going to be an engineer someday.

Second part of the day

We spent the second half of the day with Mom and Dad Kochis. After we all played with Isaiah for a while, mom worked hard making dinner for everyone and cleaning after all of us (thank you mom) while Eric worked on his motorcycle, dad planted his garden and I was just spending time with Isaiah.

What a beautiful day...

Anna and CaymanFun makes Isaiah really tired

Dimitrie loves coming back home from school

Braden and Isaiah

Ready? Let's go for a walk!

Today we went for a walk with our friends Anna, Braden and Cayman. The weather was beautiful and we had a great time.

Afterwards we went and picked Dimi up from school, and Isaiah was soooo tired so he fell asleep in the car. What a cutie...
